LightLift — Privacy

LightLift ("we," "us") provides a messaging service that helps participating restaurants add a few more covers on quieter nights by inviting guests into earlier seating windows. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions: help@lightlift.app.

What we collect

• Contact: mobile number; optional name/reservation identifier shared by you or a participating restaurant.
• Consent records: opt-in/opt-out status, timestamps, source (web/QR checkbox or reservation/feedback checkbox), and message/checkbox versions.
• Message activity: messages sent/received (incl. STOP/HELP/START), delivery status, click events, and routing metadata.
• Mini-page visits: visits to lightlift.link pages (standard device/HTTP info, variant ID).
• Support: emails sent to help@lightlift.app.
• Restaurant context: limited reservation/visit signals (e.g., eligibility tier, last-visit month).

We do not knowingly collect financial account numbers, government IDs, or precise geolocation.

How we use data

• Operate the service (SMS, confirmations, remaining windows).
• Honor preferences (immediate STOP; HELP responses).
• Measure performance (deliverability, replies, incremental covers).
• Prevent abuse, ensure security, and comply with carrier rules and law.
• Provide support and maintain compliance records.

Lawful bases (where applicable)

Your consent, our legitimate interests (operation, security, analytics), and legal obligations (e.g., honoring opt-outs).

Sharing

Only with providers under safeguards: Twilio/carriers; Cloudflare; Supabase; and our email provider. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Consent records and opt-outs are retained as needed. Message logs and mini-page events are retained for operations/fraud prevention, then deleted or de-identified on a schedule.

Other

Not directed to children under 13. We use reasonable safeguards; no method is perfectly secure. Providers may process data in the U.S. and elsewhere with appropriate safeguards.
